For those who lived in the area longer than 5 years, what would you say that the percentage-wise for the real estate price increase for the past 5 years ( approx ) ? I am talking about a condo that is now valued at about 100K.

There's a heck of a lot of variables to be considered.
Probably doubled in value from 50K to 100K, but that's just a guess.

the meltdown may be coming,real estate in the US is dead,houses arent selling and prices are dropping just to get them off the market.

Location, location....I remember condos going for $US20k (Cabarete) that sell fast now at $US100k+, whereas in other areas, I see condos marketed for $US70k, still owned by the same owner and now on the market at $US100k.....and still no takers.

That's a fact.
So many variables.............. but location's number 1,
