I'm planning a party and don't want to ofend or predispose my guest.
In the states it is typical to attend a Potluck B-day party, however I'm not sure how the Dominicans would take it?
The party will be held on a rooftop (outdoors) overlooking the Malecon,the theme is (Hawaiian- Tropical). I will be providing Mix drinks, soda and the main course, but I thought it might be fun a potluck since there will be Colombians, Puerto Ricans, N.Americans and locals, and a sampler (typical foods from their country) would be a nice sharing event.
The party invitation recomends everyone to come dressed with a tropic attaire.
Any recomendations on adding the Potluck suggestion to the invitation? Would appreciate your comments..
