From what I have read on these forums, it appears, that the worst damage was on the south/SW side. I have read a lot about Punta Cana, where we will be flying into next week, but not LaRomana.
Even if there isn't much destruction there, which is according to the resort.... I need to take with a grain of salt, as I'm sure they will not be turning away $$
But my question is about the sanitation due the flooding. I realize it is known to drink bottled water, but what about water with food preparation.
Any insight for me?
(We have never been to DR, & I did not choose the location/hotel, as we are going for my friends wedding. My husband is not thrilled, or looking forward to it, to say the least. :ermm
