809 & 829 phone service!

If been trying to call Los Mina and Villa mella since the storm began.

But have'nt been able to get through, no ringing they immediately go to recordings.

One is a cell phone and the other is a land line.

I fear my novia just might have run out of minutes on hear cell, but the land line should be ringing.

Is any one else haveing problems in these areas?

Im very worried!

Same problem here calling my friends Orange cell phone in Santo Domingo since the storm, just go's to voicemail, no ring. I don't know if it's the service or her phone was damaged by the storm. Hope everythings allright.

ive spoken to some friends in PC who have called me from their cell phones (area code 829) with no problems but from what ive heard and read SD was affected by the storm much more than the east coast. im sure its just a matter of time before things are up and running and as close to normal as possible.
