Wanted to give a quick review of Punta Cana Restaurant, in Chicago, IL. I went a few weeks ago, and I thought the food was really excellent. The restaurant is very clean and nice inside, though not what you would call fancy at all, with light bachata music playing in the background. I had the Goat and my friend had the snapper in coconut sauce, and both were outstanding - lots of food, for what I would consider very reasonable rates. I believe the Snapper was $14 and the goat $10, which rice and beans. We had empanadas for appetizer, and flan for dessert, and both were very good as well. I would recommend to anyone living in Chicago or who happens to be in Chicago and wanting a good Dominican restaurant. They are at 1024 N. Ashland Ave., and the website is www.puntacanarestaurant.net.
