It means you attacked or insulted someone on the board. It's generic text we use for a whole host of infractions.
Hlywud was the moderator that applied the points against your profile.
When a poster exceeds a certain amount of points in a fixed period, their profile is locked. Spammers are locked and blocked instantly.
We have been using this system for over a year, it works and makes our life a lot easier.
Within the next few months I will be installing a much better version.
This will allow us to lock posters out of certain threads or parts of the board.
When you run a board with 300+ posts per day, you soon realize how invaluable moderators and these types of tools are.

Fair enough but I would like to know which poster I attacked.
If I am going to receive an infraction it is only fair to know who I insulted or attacked.
I rarely do this, so I am very surprised.

I cannot tell you which post it was but you did make a comment that was deleted thus the 3 point infraction. I do not give them unless they are required.

Never going to happen. We don't have time to write reports, investigate etc.
It happened, move on, forget about it.
Robert, I think sometimes, this infraction are bios and usually towards the newbies, and NOT the old posters.
Just my opinion.
bronxboyatheart, no-one remembers why you received that infraction. Things move fast on the board. I suggest you move on .. it is not worth worrying about.
DOMINICAN BOY, that is just a 'canned comment'. Robert has implemented the new system with the little green bars. Many posters have that comment - sounds like a fortune cookie to me, but nevertheless, that is the software for you.
