Could anyone clarify the 14-day annual vacation benefit? I've read on several sites that employees are entitled to 14 days after one year of employment. What happens if the employee is fired (with justification) before completing one year of employment (say 10 months)? Do you have to pay for unused vacation time? Thanks

Yes.
If you fire a person with justification and it is properly documented with the Secretaria, you would only owe them the current salary due, if any, the vacation pay and regalia pascuale, but not "liquidacion"
