Thanks Sonny and Thanks to Katia also. So far everything is going well. Jose is having a great time with my son and friends. Without a common language they are doing much better than most adults would. Yris and I went shopping and she is very pleased with the variety of veggies....etc that she can get here. There no other Dominicans in our town but there are plenty of latinos to speak spanish with, mainly from central america. I wish both of you luck with your immigration, I'm certainly glad mine worked out easy.

Couldn't agree more! Warmest and heartliest wishes! We had
the same language challenge 8 years ago, when my ex-wifes
son got to Luxembourg. Kids resolve that more eysily than
most adults...(Luckily, we could make a 'soft-start' with french,
which is easier than english for spanish-speaking people)
