I noticed that many of these threads are a little dated. I am going to Puerto Plata for 9 days in March and then I am supposed to go for 2 weeks in August. I am thinking I may just stay in August if I can secure a job though. I want to start looking in March. I am looking into teaching in Puerto Plata. Does anyone know where I should start? I have found the names of numerous schools. I am a university graduate with teaching and tutoring experience. I am fluently bilingual in French and English and my spanish is quite good. I could go to Teacher's College in September but if possible I would just like to relocate. I know that there are teaching jobs in Puerto Plata even if I don't hold the certificate but does anyone know if the salary difference is huge?
