I am a english South African hard working,polite and have had my
my own handyman business in South Africa .I have sold it now
due to my partner immigrating to New Zealand .I am looking for new
career but still want to do what I did.I have experience in wooden deck
building,carpentry,painting,building ,plumbing,gardening,pool maintenance,
electrical,cleaning,paving,trade hand for mechanic,polishing cars and motor
bikes and a good driver.I have 5 motorcycles and 2 cars of my own which
are well looked after.I have in process of selling everything and need to
immigrate somewhere to where it is safe will pay my own airfare and visas
just need to secure employment.

Welcome to DR1, Trevor. I suggest you send a Private Message to Luperon, whose post dates back to January. His friends are likely to have filled the vacancy by now. It's also worth mentioning that wages in the DR for this type of employment are very low - i.e. not likely to make your long-haul trip worthwhile.
