Different banks - different amount?

I can remember someone once told me that if I take some money out of the atm there are different limits how much I can get. This should depend on the bank. But unfortunately I cannot remember where I can get the highest amount.

I hope someone can help me - because the best exchange rate doesn't help if you have to pay fee for several times ;)

I usually use the Banreservas ATM near the taxi stand at the Playa Dorada plaza and take out 10,000 or 12,000 pesos at a time. I don't know what the limit is.
I have used the Banco Popular ATM too and it seemed like the limit was 10,000.

On the ATM of banco BHD in Cabarete it's possible to get out more than 20'000 peso at a time. Not sure exactly what the limit since I never took out more than 25'000 at a time. Banco Popular and Scotiabank in Cabarete have a limit of 10'000.

So i will look for banco BHD. 25'000 will be perfect (at least that's what I hope :eek:) :cheeky:
