London to the DR?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to fly from London to the DR? A friend of mine went through Paris on Air France the last time over but that was long ordeal with the bad connection times etc.

Depends where in the DR you want to fly to.

There are direct flights from London Gatwick to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana with charter airlines such as Thomson, Thomas Cook, First Choice, Monarch & My Travel Airways.

Monarch and My Travel only fly during the Summer months where as the others fly all year round with a reduced schedule of one flight a week during the winter

As you have a PC why dont you use the search engines, there are loads of offers from UK to DR

Try Cheap flights & hotels | car hire | package holidays - TravelSupermarket UK which will give you the best of everything available including one way flights if needed.

They will not accept you boarding if you present a one way ticket at the airport in the UK without residency here WB.

Hmmm, accept you may well be right, but when I booked one way tickets to DR for myself and LC on 31st October 2007 from Manchester to Puerto Plata no-one asked for my residencia and Chris just bought his tourist card along with all the other tourists.
