I understand that the Dr gets most of it's gas from Venezuela at a cut rate price, but the way Chavez is acting lately it seems he is increasingly divisive and wants his LA neighbors to decide. Given that now he wants increasing ties with FARC, a terrorist agency and cohorts with the largest drug trafficers in the world, it may be a possibility that the DR will have to look to import there gas from other places.
My questions are, how much does the DR pay a gallon now from Venezuela and how much does it cost on the open market. Also, do we get NG from Venezuela too? What nwould be the changes in prices that we see now?
