Due to popular demand, we are back to do a couple of election special episodes.

As many of you know, May 16, marks the date of the Dominican Republic elections, a joyous occasion for all!

For those of you not so familiar with who’s running and what they stand for, we have tried to give you a basic overview and some insights into what’s what etc.

Make sure you check out the end of the podcast for a very special phone call from the “Cardinal” who as you know is one of our special friends :)

Overall, it's a good episode made great by our guest caller at the end!

The blooper at the end is pretty funny too.

Thanks to all who sent in their questions ahead of time.

I didn't know you and the "Cardinal" were such good friends, Scandall. Too funny and worth the one year wait. Peace

Good to hear you too, Mr Lu.

Was it just me or did the Cardinal sound more Indian than Dominican? ;)

Ok, that was good... It was fun !

Fun to hear you guys speaking with your respective accent ;)

I enjoyed listening to Mr.Lu... Now that I have a better view of his background in the USA, it helps me understand some of his positions...

I also enjoyed Robert's comment on the fact that PLD might be as corrupt as PRD, but in a more sophisticated way, more subtle...

Good job, guys, keep'em coming !

Almost time for another episode

In just a few short hours we'll have some election results (hopefully). That means that the Mangu Minute team will soon take to the airwaves (you know what I mean) for another special episode.

Expect it to be out relatively relatively soon. As usual, we'll let you know.
