Dominicans in Western Canada....

Are there any Dominican people in Alberta or even British Columbia, Canada? I wouldn't think so because the weather is far too cold up here and no island vibe at all but you never know :) Dominican people changed my whole perspective on life. I would love to hang out with some Dominican people in Canada and not just when I go visit my friends in DR every few months :)

There is a Dominican woman in Courtenay Vancouver Island, a number of Dominicans play Baseball in Vancouver and Victoria. Friends of my parents have a grand-daughter whose Dominican Husband should be arriving soon to Kamloops. Check the local Multicultural societies, if anyone will know it will be them. The weather in most of western Canada is warmer than Montreal, which is where most Dominican live in Canada.
