Shuttle/Cab Fare question Puerto Plata

Hi! This is my first post! What a great board, comprised of very nice people!
My wife and I are from Dawson Creek, in Northern BC, Canada, and going to the DR for the first time. (We still have snow!:surprised)
We are staying in Puerto Plata, at the Paraiso Tropicale. Does anyone know if resorts generally shuttle you from the airport in, and if not, what is a reasonable cab fare. I did a search, but could not find up to date info.

If you bought an all-inclusive package...which I am assuming you did judging by where you are staying...your transfers to and from the airport will be included with your tour operator.

Check with your travel agent or whomever you booked with.

Failing this, a cab will be around USD$28 from the airport to Playa Dorada.
