Yes, but not along the lines that I think you would be referring to. For high Government officials, this is controlled by the Government direct, there are specialised undercover squads. I cannot discuss this on this forum, please look at this website and email me direct. wwwsasdomrep.com I would be very interested in talking with you.

I am intrigued Jim - You are obviously no longer a member of the SF in UK so no longer come under the 'Official Secrets' Act, so where were you working & in what capacity?
Have you decided on what area to Re-Locate to in the DR?
Are you looking for employment or just a 'Part Time Involvement' so as to integrate into the community better?
What is your level of Spanish (a MUST I would suggest if you want to work in this field effectively)?
Do you intend this 'Employment' to be consultative or 'hands on' involvement?

Having been SF, I am sure your credentials are impeccable but some indication as to your previous modus operadi & desire as to the line you would like to involve yourself in here would help us respond more helpfully. ~ Grahame.

Ok. This is not meant to incite you, but you need some serious PR help.

The pic on your website does not send the kind of message that an intelligent, unimposing, seeking to "fly below the radar" type of customer would want to associate with.

It looks more like the cover of a low-budget rap album (ok...that may incite).

Executive and personal protection is a serious thing. Nobody would take your site seriously.

I agree you ought to change the picture as well. Also, the image is a "reverse" image thus the words are spelled wrong.

I also think this is a good business and wish you the best of luck. Also, if you need some PI work done I have a good buddy who does that. We also have contacts with others for "inside" type of info. And finally, depending on the scale and area of operation of your services I have another friend who offers the latest training in that regard and can put you in touch with him when he returns shortly from Iraq. If you are also interested in contract work, not necessarily in the the Middle East, he is the person to see. Pay is good too.

You are one very nasty unpleasant person looking at all your history of posts.

The response has been excellent both from my website and advertising campaign. We back our business with years of security experience and personal protection, how dare you suggest I would put my clients safety at risk. Meet me when you return Id be glad to talk to you - to reassure your concerns.

Many thanks Chip but if you read the website info you will see I already have the contacts and the training. Be very glad to meet your friend when he returns from AD.

Dadiruges

...The pic on your website....

I am not sure whether you are referring to this:

30mwz80.jpg

If so, I for one would certainly not let such a guy beyond my gate. I am afraid to say that an association of 'macho thug' and/or 'tiguere' came to my mind when seeing the 'DADIRUGES' guy...

BTW, a well trained guard would never put a finger inside the trigger area of a gun (loaded or not) if not so needed.

Thank you so much, MountainFrog. I wanted to point that out, but assumed my criticism would be seen as "unpleasant". ;)

This speaks volumes to his claims of extensive "training and experience", neither of which are documented on the website.

He looks more like a "guachiman" with internet access than an experienced security professional.

To be fair to the guy, we shouldn't judge his security qualifications by the quality of his webpage.

I also think it is a good idea to have foreigners involved in the security business here given that accountablity and professionalism are lacking and hope he does well.

Chip...you're slipping. ;)

Mr. SAS himself stated that "if you read the website info you will see I already have the contacts and the training."

On a side note: Using SAS in a security company's name is pretty silly unless you've somehow been officially associated with the highly-trained, ultra-professional British SAS.

If I were him I would take down the site and re-assess my business plan. This one hasn't passed the most elementary of tests - the message board bull**** detector.

Painful Picture

Well, I did not want to sound 'unpleasant' but rather tried to protect from further embarrassment.

Well, I am almost certain that the person in the picture is not the webmaster nor the owner of this security firm... ;)

Thanks for your feedback on the Web site.
Many companies have focus groups composed of the target audience and they gather unbiased opinion on images, brochures, sites etc. and their brand identity is created and based on this. This owner of SASDOMREP a former senior police officer will be taking all this feedback into consideration and will be obtain another photo that's more suitable. You can submit your comments by PM to SASDOMREP, I think that's a more constructive way to critique someone's work tactfully and privately.

I wish her all best and hope that her services and products bring security to the lives of her clients. I hope she'll have the luxury of time and the budget to contract marketing professionals.

The "unpleasant" remark was included because that's how he referred to me in an earlier post.

As far as the tiguere in the pic...I bet it's SASdomrep himself!

A decent response.

The only thing I would add is that when we make public claims we should expect public criticism.

Scandall, no disrespect intended, but I doubt the picture is SASdomrep himself, since it is my understanding SASdomrep is a woman.
This was discussed in another thread.

If I am incorrect in my assumption, I apologize in advance.

I received an email asking me what the Russian connection was :cheeky:;)
?????????? ???? ?? ?????? - ????????????? ?????

And on a more serious note, there have been mails from people a bit concerned when seeing billboards with those sort of pictures that somehow this could be misinterpreted for a gringo company war on locals. I don't know if what they have seen is the same as the photo mountainfrog linked to but it appears that there are/is billboard(s) on the highway. Is this true?

Thanks for correcting me (in addition to the 5 PMs I just received telling me the same thing).

:)

Newsflash: The 50 cent wannabe in the pic is not SASdomrep (qualified international security specialist).

Why is it in this life and on this forum there are always those that feel the need to attack and critisize those willing in life to work hard and get ahead. I hardly think that any client is going to run inside, if robbers are entering their property, switch on their computers and check for any design errors. Rather they will be more impressed by the actions of the company and protection given when they are under threat. I have already had cause to use firearms in threatening situations here in this country and I am pleased to say that all criminals involved are now enjoying the normal 5* star accommodation.

Lambada stop finding any reason whatsoever to attack me, you are merely adding to the tremendous support and friendship I get from people that you have previously insulted.

Thats it! I am not responding again to these inane childish remarks, I am busy, I have a business to run.
