Jet Skiing in Playa Dorada?

Sorry for the thousands of questions I have been asking lately, but are there any jet ski rentals on the beach in Playa Dorada?
If so, does anyone know how much they go for?

Yes, it's available but I'm not sure of the cost.

They are not allowed on Playa Dorada by the resorts but there are some just east of the complex.
In January the rates were $40 US for 15 minute, $50 for 20 minutes, and $70 for 30 minutes.

I was told by a tour operator in Sosua who had two parked on a trailer outside his store...that it was illegal to rent to tourists.
maybe it was something looked down upon by the tourist industry, and maybe it is a law, but falls into that huge catergory of
"yes it is illegal but it is commonly done" ha ha ha
but I would love to get Tavina a chance to ride one...so if anyone finds out a place that they KNOW actually rents them on the north coast, please mention it or let me know

Certainly at the weekend there are a couple of jet skis on the beach at Bergantin in front of the guy who sells paintings.
I have paid different amounts depending on how many of us - and how skint they were!
