according to the Consulate of France in Santo domingo Dominican citizens transiting through France in order to get to another country will requiere Transit Visas even if they dont plan of leaving the Airport Transit lounge

EXCEPTIONS
This doesnt apply to Dominican citizens who hold a valid visa and/or residence permit for any EEA member state which are

visa not required provided:
- continuing by same or connecting aircraft to a third country
without leaving the airport; and
- arriving and departing from/to a non-Schengen country

Ok with UK Visa

is it possible to transit via france to london with a 6 month british visa??

Yes No problem the Dominican national could Transit via Paris Visa Free if they Hold a Valid UK Visa and are not leaving the Airport area.Must usually be connexting within 8 hours and must be flying Nonstop between France and The UK..No other stops allowed in a Scheghen country allowed
