DVD Region Codes....????

Does anyone know if I were to burn a DVD for someone in the D.R. what region code I would have to use to have the most viewing compatibility?

From what I'm reading on the net it looks like I need to use Region Code 4 and NTSC-M format. Can anyone confirm or advise?

try this for info but it looks like you're right about region 4 for the Caribbean

i think blank disc are region 0 it depends if you record in ntsc or pal and what machines people have whether they can read it.

I use CloneDvd together with AnyDvd, it removes the region code so you can use the copy anywhere, for DR must be NTSC though.
