It is a brand new hotel located behing the Gran Almirante. It is reasonably priced for Santiago, has wireless internet in the whole hotel, has a nice small restaurant and bar attached to it. I did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the food. The prices in the restaurant looked reasonable.
The price for the rooms start at 1600rd for one, 1900rd for two, up to 2800rd for two in the best room. I looked at the small room, and it has a very nice new Queen Size bed,a flat screen TV, but the room is tiny. You may be better off with a bigger room, but you can look for yourself when you get there.
As far as guest friendly, I would assume if you paid for a double and your girlfriend arrives later, like at 2AM you should have no trouble. It has 65 rooms total. AC also included, and a good new wall unit in all rooms.
I think it is a very good value and location.
