My fav of the Barcelo commercials from the 80s are two: The Chivo one and the one where the husband leaves to NYC and comes back to his wife. Tha latter making me teary-eyed everytime I watch it.

There are tons of these on Youtube. Barcelo had a whole series of them for every province which were very nice. I don't want to hijack Mr_DR's thread so I'll let him post them, but if you guys watch the one from Cotui, the "crazy" guy at the beginning was a neighbor of ours who used to be a school principal until he had a mental meltdown and now just walks all day wearing several jackets and ties no matter how hot it gets.

The ones from the above commercial were actors who apparently didn't make it very far...

The midget guy is now a chiropractor in Santiago and an active poster in this forum...He gets Santiagueras by the boatload...
