Ocean Manor Resort

I'm trying to get the hang of this board - it's been years since I've been on a board or in a chat room. ANYWAY, I'm trying to see if anyone has any information on the Ocean Manor Resort in Cabarete. We're thinking about a trip there and the web doesn't have too much info on that place, but I hear it's relatively new. Thanks. ~

A friend of mine is the day time bartender at the beach bar, I have stopped in to visit her a few times over the years and it seems like a decent place. I have chatted with people staying there and do not recall hearing any negatives. Mostly Canadians staying there. The ocean is not great for swimming on this stretch of beach.

It is a bit of a hike into town although there are plenty of motoconchos around.
