Is there anyone here who owns or rents in DR but only lives there just part of every year going back and forth to your home country? This may sound silly, but I've heard of a lot of people who do this in different countries. They work in the home country for 3-6 months out of every year to save money and live on that in a developing country for the rest of the year.
If so, I'm looking for a good deal to rent a house or apt for part of the year. Which part is still up in the air. I'd like to live in Bonao or near San Isidro or Santo Domingo, but I'd still like to get info for other parts of the island.
