Oye

Nice shots from Curt, and thank you Robert for several very nice additions to the tournament, from the beer carts to the publicity to the eye candy to the whole deal. comments on the fotos would be fun.

My only comment (so FAR!!!) would be:
Rain to the North of us
Rain to the West of us
& a whole LOT of rain to the South of us.
Rain up until a couple of hours before the tournament
& a whole HEAP of rain a few hours after the tournament!!

Were the Golf Gods looking after us or were we just plain LUCKY??? :bunny::bunny:

THANKS guys whoever, wherever - & that includes all the organisers!! ~Grahame.

So what was the final score,
One team shot 66 & I believe that was the best round of the day.

We ALL did - it was a fun day for the benefit of a charity

are we going to see a results table?
That is a decision for the organisors of course but I somehow doubt it in that (as stated earlier in this thread) this was not a competition but a fun day out to help a charity. As there were no handicaps decided for each team, it would be impossible to decide WHICH team WON.

If seeing 'winners' & 'results' is important to you, maybe the committee will show who got nearest to the pin on hole number ...... , who had the longest drive on hole one, who holed the longest putt on hole number ... & hole number ....! But as I said, that is up to them to withold or display! ~ Grahame.

Robert is the guy with a red cap and black shirt sitting in the cart with the cutie. I don't see any of him actually playing golf :)

The MiTaverna team had black t-shirts and gave us that lovely "mooners" shot.

Final Tally

The tally is in. The 1st Annual raised just under $170,000 for Hogar Crea. Not bad for the first shot outta the box.
No handicaps were even considered, we just played for fun and charity.

Outback Safari Team: 66, Barry, Phil, Dave and Mike
North Coast Dive Team: 69, Rick J., Joaquin B., Ken and Elaine
Team #11: 69, Lee, Julie, Miguel and Rob
Team #4: 69, Jody, Steve, Bartender Ted, Chip
Team Mi Taverna: 71, Kevin, Alberto, Oscar and Arturo
The DREAM Team: 69, Dom, Carrol, John and Bernie
Pedro McMurphy's Team: 72, Garth, Tom, Bill and Andy
Admiral Sportswear Team: 72, Dale, Piano Ted, Roger and Jose
DR1 Team: 73, Hillbilly, Bushbaby, tflea and Lee B.
Team #10: 75, Doug H., Linda L., Mark Y. and Chuck W.
And the Most Honest Golfers Award went to Team Jolly Rogers: 84, Lee Jr., Lee Sr., Kelly and Billy.

Sorry if I've misspelled, dislocated, misnamed or not given credit to a team sponsored. Feel free to correct the info.
Most everyone got a prize of some sort, all received great caps, water bottles and some golf towels at registration. The JetBlue ticket raised $450US, auctioned twice, bought 1st by AlaninDR for $250 who turned right around and donated it back, and it sold again for $200. A good example of the spirit and energy of the day.
