Newman supported the "Free Mumia" movement. Mumia Abu-Jamal murdered Philadelphia police officer Danny Faulkner 27 years ago and Newman was one of many Hollywood beautiful people to buy the lie that he is a political prisoner.

Yes, Newman supported Mumia. Which was and is wrong. The man is a cop killer. On that note, there isn't much DR related Paul Newman stuff. RIP. Closed.
