For those of you who have asked the question of why the DR isn't on Google Maps? here is the answer: They are working on it. So far about 70% complete. It may be done quicker if everyone puts in work. I've seen what they've done so far and I can see most of the roads in the city of Santiago! I even added my old school to the map (Colegio La Zurza). To view the progress thus far go to Google Map Maker and just zoom in on the DR. Enjoy and contribute!
