Obtaining an american travel visa?

They very rarely give them out. You pay $160 for the appointment, travel to Santo Domingo wait for hours then get turned down in a rude fashion without being given a reason. When you call the Consul they will not tell you why, or how you may qualify in the future. Experiences like this make is easy to understand why the US is disliked so much.
