Quien mi hablar?

When you answer the phone here this is usually shouted at you, even though THEY called YOU!?! :ermm:

I respond "Con quien quiere hablar?" That's a lot of fun on wrong numbers.

.............................................................................

Thanks in advance

Your call is important to us

"think outside of the box" even tho its a good in its own way...it is very much overused.

"excuse me" Here in nyc it is usually said with an attitude that means "get the f* out of my way".

"que lo que" I find myself offending people by saying that if they are not from the campo. Argentinians find this phrase completely offensive...while mexicans are kinda picking it up these days. I dunno..i kinda like the phrase myself. It shows familiarity and friendship and warmth.

"yo soy una gente que..."

Whenever I hear this phrase it is followed by someone tooting their own horn, and usually lying or at least imbellishing a little. I have never had a good working experience with a person who used this phrase during their initial interview.
