I've been trying to find how to get from Cabarete to Puerto Plata via bus, the Metro web site is in espanol and I don't know enough espanol to understand it... Where in Puerto Plata does it go? Where can we get on the bus, how much is it.. and we'll have to come back to Cabarete.

I apologise if this has been asked before....

And thanks in advance for any help!!

if you just stand on the main road, a gua gua will come by probably with a sign on it saying Rio San Juan to Puerto Plata. Just hop on the bus and it will take you right into Puerto Plata. The bus from Rio San Juan to Puerto Plata is about 80 pesos, so I would think from Cabarete probably around 40 pesos. Good luck!
