I have a Cuban girlfriend, I would like to invate to DR.

I visited the DR embassy in Havana and was told at that only people with resident in DR could invate Cubans to DR.

I am from Norway and are only a tourist here.

Anybody have any experience or knowlegde about get a Cuban to visit DR for a few months ?
Of course I will be economical responsiable for here.

If I should marry her in Cuba in the future, will that make it easier for her to visit DR ?

Thank you

The difficult part will be getting permission for her to leave Cuba, not entry into the DR.

Then yes, you do need an invitation from a DR resident or institution. Our Cuban friends who have visited us are well-connected enough to be allowed to travel back and forth but they have to have a reason, like attending an event or a training course. Has your friend got links to any academic or professional institution/company/government department whose counterpart in the DR could arrange for her to attend some event/training course and issue a formal invitation?
