could someone help me translate CON COTORRA NO by Sujeto?

it's not weird that sujeto would write that he's a "pana de trujillo", especially w sujeto being a dark skinned dominican?

tu no ere para - 'para' in this instance means 'someone that can influence things or others'... thus, it translates to 'you have no pull; you have no influence; you have no power'

I don't think he means that he was mana de trujillo. there should be comas in there. like ,pana, like... yo, pana, soy la mejor. his trying to say I'm ruthless, brother.

Trujillo did not have a problem with dark skinned Dominicans, he had a problems with dark skinned Haitians. Yes, there are WHITE and mixed Haitians. And to make sure he was not ordering the killing of a dark skinned Dominican, he devised a test on the word "Perejil" which means parley. Haitians, due to the French language cannot roll the Rs and the J sound different in Spanish and French. A mis-pronounciation of this word cost people lives.

Con Paquete No: That means not with showboating or stop the showboating.
Tu no ere para: You don't stand for nothing.
La metralladora y los mineros puros pa representa: The gun machine and Los Mineros Homeboys to represent. (Los Minas is a huge barrio located in the Oriental Zone near Megacentro)
A desafiar: to challenge against
Corporanr gave a good definition of what Sujeto meant when he said: viene de la era, pana, de Trujillo

That's really interesting. So what do dominicans think of trujillo today? What's his reputation like in dr and among dominican americans?

So villa mella and los minas are both barrios in santo domingo? Sujeto's video for ccn was shot in lomina, so I guess its a pretty impoverished area. Do you know where el cata's "loca con su tiguere" video was shot?

so what does "con cotorra no" mean? A local band will play this song from time to time; they played it Friday and someone asked me what did the chorus mean. I knew the word wasn’t parrot so I just said I don’t know..??
