Does anyone have a contact for a couple of pages of English to Dutch translating services.

Thanks,

Thanks

Thanks, we had a secretary of our friend do it after we got a quote of 15,000 pesos, I think. Seemed a little high for the amount of text we had but we all need to make a living. We need to do updates from time to time so I'll keep you in mind. We are considering adding Russian now since we're getting quite a few Russian clients.

Wow, doesn't take long for the gringos to get acclimatized.

If it was literally a couple of pages it should cost no more than RD$2,500. The translators association in Santo Domingo recommends a starting price of US$0.08 per word, which the translator can adjust depending on the client and nature of the assignment. Therefore two pages of text, which usually comes to about 900 words, should cost US$72 or RD$2500.
