Help with Check-in

Tried searching and also tried an online translator, with mixed results.

I am trying to find out how to ask, while checking in, if we can get a late check-out the following week.

Also, how to ask if any rooms on the first floor are available? Primero piso disponible.

Sorry for my lameness, ... I have been trying to learn the language in various ways. Just very slow-going at my age.

Laura usually resorts have the check-in at 3pm and check-out at 1 pm.,,so you can ask them if you can make the check-out a few hours later.....puedo hacer el check-out(they understand the term since dominicans use it too)unas horas mas tarde??

and about rooms in first floor.........tiene alguna habitacion disponible en el primer piso??
