Does the Villas del Mar school in Juan Dolio that is mentioned in the Private Schools sticky in the Living Forum have a website, or does anyone here have their contact details? Are there any other good private schools in the area?

That's great matilda, thanks. Is it an evangelical or a catholic school? A couple of posters in the sticky thread, including a former student, mentioned that it was very religious.

It is religious but not sure what type of religion. It is an American religious programme not a Dominican one - not catholic so more likely some form of evangelical. No nuns in sight!!!

Villas del Mar teaches using the Beka home schooling program from the U.S. It is a Christian based home schooling program. The first class of the day is a Bible class but, other than that, I wouldn't say it is a "very religious" school. My kids went there for 3 years before we moved back to the U.S. They were ahead of the other kids in their U.S. public school when returned to the U.S.
