I have read on the forum , that a Dominican woman has to be divorced for 10 month's , before she can remarry in DR. Does that also mean for the k-1 visa ? My girlfriend has been divorced for 4 month's. Her and her husband have not been together for longer than that. I am wondering if (Since I have to wait another 6 month's anyway) could'nt I start the USA k-1 visa and marry her her in the states? Or does the US also have a time period , one in which a woman has to be divorced before being allowed to re-marry. Can anyone help? Thanx , Matt
