Would like input on games played by children in the Dominican Republic in the 1950's to 1956. Actually, I need the name of the game and what trees we used to get the seed from.
It involved the use of a large seed with a string and a 14 to 18 inch circle on hard dirt. One participant would place their seed in the circle and the other player would attempt to crack the seed. Either a hard strike or cracking the opposing player's seed would win that round. A crack was the end of the game; the losing player was out of the game and a new player would play.
Thanks!
