Hi all,

I have a business here in the DR and many of the things i purchase for the business are from abroad, Much of it large expensive pieces of equipment.

As every reciept must have an N.C.F number for Mr tax man to calculate any deductions it seems none of these purchases can are deductable.

Any advice?? :ermm:

What about the duties or ITBIS paid when importing them?

You might need to chat with one of the larger accounting firms that often deal with these types of issues, like MEJIA LORA & ASOCIADOS.

Ask to speak to Raymi Lora, he's one of the partners and I'm sure will be more than happy to give you some advice, he's a DR1 reader and really knows his stuff.

If you are importing those equipment from abroad, as soon as you pay your duties this information (DGA, Aduanas) is transfer automaticly to the DGII. You have to make sure that everything is addressed to your company in order that you can use this to register your acquisitions, expenses and itbis.
