Today is April 24th. Puerto Plata's Fundaci?n Caama?o has a day of events: at the Fundaci?n itself (on Duarte near Plaza Independencia/Parque Central) there are displays of historic documents and photos, at 5.30 pm Mass in the Cathedral to honour the heroes who were killed in the Revolution, at 7 pm in Plaza Independencia a theatrical performance by Teatro Balsamo (which might be showing parts of Rene Fortunato's documentary as a backdrop), a dance display followed by, at 8 pm, a musical concert. All events are free but if you want to make a contribution, it won't be refused - if you do, give it to the elderly gentleman with the restricted mobility - he was the Commander of the revolutionaries in Puerto Plata 44 years ago (he has some English btw). On Saturday at 5.30 pm meeting of Fundaci?n members at the Fundaci?n. On Tuesday 28th. at 9 am floral tribute at Municipal Cemetery, at 10 am visit by Claudio Caama?o to Colegio San Felipe, at 2 pm TV interview of Claudio Caama?o at Circuito Musa, Channel 3 and at 5 pm a lecture given by Claudio Caama?o about the Revolution in the auditorium of the University (CURA UASD, Cafemba, near Costambar).
