Good optician on the North Coast?

I am looking for any recommendations on a good optician on the North coast (or alternatively Santiago).

I have pretty bad vision and need to get a good check done since I think I need new prescription for my contact lenses.

Help is much appreciated.

For years, I've gone to Centro de Oftalmologia in Santiago, Dr Grullon Manso. He is Spanish, trained in New York, speaks English and is very competent. 809- 583-1902

I agree with Bob. Dr Grullon Manso. Good guy, very competent.

In POP I use Dr. Carlos Juan Burroughs 809 586 2342 he speaks english and is located in the Centro Medico Dr. Bournigal....inexpensive and knowledgeable

Mike, thanks - POP much better for me as herniated disc makes for v. uncomfortable journey to STI. Is it relatively easy to get an quick appointment with him?
