Flamenco Beach Resort

We're traveling to Dominican in February. First visit. Staying in Puerto Plata at the Flamenco Beach Resort. Did we make a good choice???

Most definately, My wife and i stayed there two years ago, the staff were superb as was the standard of the hotel in general. In addition the food ( there are four restaurants ) was excellent, and the resort of Playa Dorada itself has lots of facilities various bars and restaurants. Suggest you check out the German Bar, good beer. Enjoy your holiday

We're booked there too for Mar. 7. We have heard good reports about the resort, but stayed at the nearby Riu Merengue the last 2 years (also 5 star, but brand new), so we wonder if it will be as great. Can you write back & tell us all about your stay there? Especially any tours you might have taken. Thanks in advance.

We are staying at the Flamenco Jan 18-25 Have heard nothing but great reviews. Two other couples we are going with have stayed there before and thought it was great.We hope to have a great time!!!Anybody else going at this time???
