I was going to be kind of sassy and ask if you think the Louvre or the Met would accept dogs...

Excuse me, "working dogs" are allowed, but they have to be certified beforehand.

Two men are walking their dogs - a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua on a very hot day. They need a beer badly.
As luck would have it, around the next corner, a tavern presents itself. Thank God!!, they exclaim.
OOPS, sign in window reads "No pets"
"Sh*t" says Chihuahua man. "leave this to me" says the German Shepherder
In he goes and sits at the bar.
Bartender Says " What's with you, Buddy? You blind? Read the sign - no pets!"
Yessir, I'm sorry to say , I am blind. This is my seeing eye dog.
Geez, I'm sorry , friend. What will you have? It's on me.
Chihuahua Man observes this... plucks up his courage... and ventures in to sit at the bar with his friend.
Same routine, Barman says " Hey Pal, you blind? Read the sign."
Yessir, I am blind. This my seeing eye dog.
Barkeep " Oh, no- you don't fool me, pal.... not a Chihuahua as a seeing eye dog"
