Santo Domigo Dust?

I justed checked weather.com Santo Domingo Weather Forecast and Conditions Dominican Republic for a Santo Domingo forcast and it describes todays weather as 87 degrees with "Widespread Dust". Can anyone expand on that?

Maybe saharan dust from Africa. If you are in Juan Dolio it is construction dust. All I can tell you is, it is absolutely roasting and not a cloud in the sky and not a drop of rain for weeks.
