Public transport on the new highway

Is there a way of getting from Punta Cana to Nagua on public transport on the new highway? (if need be, bus from SDQ to Nagua or Samana is OK)
Thanks.

bus (caribetrours, sitrabapu,...) guagua... are options, no taxi or motoconcho :dead:

busses run from SD to Sanchez,Las Terrenas,Samana every day from 730 am to 4pm,all go on new highway...you can get off in sanchez and return to nagua.
la parada is on Barahona street,right behind the plaza lama on duarte..
