Ok, so my wife and I had a son in April 2009. My wife's visa is almost complete, just awaiting the interview date (which should be in August or September). How do I go about getting whatever it is I need to do for my son so he is a US Citizen? Also, I am in the US now working until the interview date. any help?

If he's declared as your son then I believe all you need to do is go to the US Consulate (or is it the Embassy) and file the papers for him to get a Social Security. By law he's entitled to US Citizenship. Of course you have to prove he's your real son so be prepared for DNA test, etc.

how do i do that? He wasn't even born until the process was completed and now is awaiting an interview in the DR.
if i am not mistaken on the requirements/questions asked for the wife's Visa, one of the points is "are ya pregnatnt?".
i guess she was unless your case is not pending since a very long time.
jump to DebbiesDominicanTravel.com
and search for "Yahaira",
his name is Phil,
he went throu all that nightmare and will give you a hand where ever he can.
good luck
and congrats on the baby
