Best Air routes from PHX to POP

Greetings
I was thinking of which would be the best route from Phoenix to POP? It seems either through Miami or Houston --anyone flown that route before?
Any reply will be appreciated

Bred Thanks--seems slightly long--I will keep going thru 2 different airlines as an option--phx to mia and then mia to pop :)

AA through Miami

..............would be your best bet............even if you have to code share I would think.

Not sure if this is an option for you, but I think Southwest has Phoenix-Ft. Lauderdale..and you can fly FTL to Santiago with Spirit now. Santiago airport is a little over an hours drive from POP and flights are usually cheaper than AA with their monopoly.

We use MIA-POP all the time, and it is great. The Santiago flight usually arrives quite late at night and then you have to scramble to find transportation to POP.
