I am planning on taking the ferry to bring back as much as I can in 3 suitcases. Has anyone experienced what customs put you through when departing Puerto Rico and when you return back to Santo Domingo? Any experiences heard would be appreciated.

Ferry from santo domingo to puerto rico, is it a customs nightmare?
Good luck to you. This is the first (legal) boat to PR that I have heard of. Let us know how it goes.
Been on it once.
No problems, but then I was not bringing in 3 suitcases of stuff.
Since the Customs Officials are more or less there just for the Ferry, probably they check everyone.
