    Anyone been here? Were thinking about Easter week. Know a good golf course near by? Your experiences,impressions and advise appreciated. Jay

    Where is this hotel located? Casa Marina operates hotels in Sosua, Juan Dolio and Samaná.

    Casa Marina-Sosua has been extensively reviewed by contributors to the Message Board, so do a search of the Message Board archives typing in Casa Marina. Also check the Resort Database of this site using the link on the index page.

    All these golf courses are within are less than an hour from where you will be staying. The best of all is the Playa Grande course. If you are a serious golfer, it is worth the visit.

    I don't recommend anywhere in the DR during Semana Santa (Easter).It is a LARGE national holiday, and a lot of things are closed, or certain activities not offered at the resorts.
