Whilst browsing flights for visiting relatives this morning, I came across a rare 'one way' flight offer.

Sunday, 18th October ONLY, Depart LGW 10.50, Arrive POP 15.15
Flight no. TCX 65K

Cost of flight with taxes ?138.50, inflight meal ?8.50, luggage ?15 =
Total cost ?162.00

Can't imagine this will be 'on sale' for long, you can find it at:
Product Search | flythomascook.com

Hope it's useful info for some DR1ers.

Cheap Flights to Dalaman, Flights to Alicante, Flights to Tenerife, Cheap Holidays from Airflights.co.uk

Unfortunately we were unable to find availability for your specified flight.
There may no longer be enough seats available for your party.

As I was originally searching for a family of 4 with flexible holiday dates, I also found the offer on airflights.co.uk initally and it would not link... but that flight is definitely 'on sale' as a one-way on the website I quoted in the original post. I did not suggest it was available elsewhere.

Jetairfly out of Brussels

You'll find some really good deals on www.JetairFly.com, out of Brussels to Punta Cana or Puerta Plata, or the other direction - as low as EUR 150 one way; I take it that with the distances and low cost airlines in Europe you can find a really cheap deal crossing the Channel.

Agreed that jetairfly are very reasonable for anyone flying from Brussels to the DR but costs are far higher in the other direction (similar to Air France). Although a short trip from UK to Brussels, the flights are not that cheap and timing is not good for the connection out of Brussels at 6 am on a Monday morning.

Check out the prices on the promotions on:

http://www.jetairfly.com/pdf_docs/promo_one_way_belgium_en.pdf

For example POP - BRU on 19 Oct. for EUR 199.99 incl. taxes and fees, or from PUJ - BRU on 21 Oct. for EUR 199.99, or 13 Nov. for EUR 194,99, all incl. taxes and fees.

The prices and connections between BRU and GB I don't know. I have used the airline a couple of times when I needed to go elsewhere on the continent.

I checked out Jetairfly yesterday and the flights quoted for end January worked out to over 900 Euro return! As the Euro is now just over the GBP, this is not a good price. However, did check out flights going from LON to POP via Belgium so this may not be the most economical way to travel.
