Strangely enough, there are a number of gay events in and around Cabrera throughout the year. One of the funniest I've seen in a long time was a transvestite show at one of the local tipicos. Seriously. It was very well done and was extremely entertaining.

I say "strangely" because although I've lived in Cabrera for 8 years I still find it odd that this little town has a sophisticated enough population to enjoy this type of entertainment.
